The fourth Nigeria Media Leaders Summit, organised by The Journalism Clinic (TJC), begins today, May 11, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, with many top journalists and other media professionals attending.
The theme of the summit holding at the Academic Suites is Reset, Restart and Restore.
According to the Founder/ Director of TJC, Mr Taiwo Obe, the summit is designed to meet head-long the challenges of the decline in the fortunes of the industry caused by the shift in technology and media consumption habits.
The highlight of this edition will be a keynote address by Obe titled 1001 THINGS to unpack many possibilities that can drive shared prosperity for media owners, employees, advertisers, suppliers, customers and audiences.
” This is to spark delegates’ robust discussion to produce an Agenda for Renewal: a concise roadmap for actionable commitments for industry transformation,” Obe explained.
The yearly gathering, according to the organisers, unites media owners, newsroom managers, and industry leaders from across Nigeria for purpose-driven dialogue.

Delegates, including innovators, thought leaders and professionals, are selected for their expertise and real-world experience, ensuring high-impact outcomes.
The Summit has an array of sponsors and partners, namely: Pan Ocean, New Cross Exploration and Production Limited, Lagos State Government, Central Bank of Nigeria, NLNG, Punch Newspapers, Fidelity Bank, Ogun State Government and the Nigeria Railway Corporation.
