Bayelsa Post-Election Workshop
With the support of the United States Consulate, Lagos, a three-part virtual training has been held for journalists in Bayelsa State in September/October 2020.
The physical session will hold in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Participants were drawn from print, electronic and online media organisations.
The overarching objective of the workshop is to build the capacity of the participants to hold the newly sworn-in Bayelsa Administration officials more accountable while in office.
The workshop also seek to engender a culture of democratic accountability and good governance reporting among local journalists in Bayelsa State.

MCDN partnered with The CoBuilders, for four weeks virtual workshops on Deploying Technology for Impact and Profitability in the Nigeria media industry.
Facilitators included top local and international media, digital and others professionals.
Data Support for Webinars
Data support was offered to journalists to participate in webinars during the COVID-19 lockdown. Supported journalists participated in various training sessions and wrote about what they learnt.
