Communication specialist and media entrepreneur, Fola Folayan has joined the new radio station in Ibadan, Oyo State YES FM 101.7 as General Manager.
She announced her new appointment in a tweet over the weekend saying she was thrilled and excited about her new assignment.
“ I started my radio journey in Ibadan many years ago so this feels like fate and destiny to me.
“ I’m very excited and looking forward to working with the amazing team we’ve put together over the last few weeks. I’m very grateful for the love and support of my friends and colleagues here and I’m looking forward to more partnerships and collaborations,” Folayan stated.

A versatile and talented broadcaster with vast experience in Broadcasting, she has hosted several shows, both on Television and Radio.
The former talk-show host on 99.3 NIGERIA INFO LAGOS is the Operations Director of the BROADCAST RADIO MASTER CLASS; a radio presenter training institute that facilitates training and internship opportunities for entry-level broadcasters.
She is also the curator of the Media Mentors Series; a networking event for young media professionals, organised under the BRMC Project.
