TheCable Nigeria an online newspaper has vacancies for three editorial positions.

The vacancies are for Business Correspondent,  Finance Correspondent and Energy Correspondent.

The Business Correspondent must have “relevant journalism experience, with strong analytical, creative and organisational skills.”

He or she must be proficient in modern, digital journalism, while experience as a business editor in a mainstream newspaper is a significant advantage for a successful candidate who will be based in Lagos.

The Finance Correspondent should posses newspaper experience in business writing and reporting and must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism.

Energy Correspondent to be based in Abuja should have newspaper experience in energy news writing and reporting. Candidates must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism.

TheCable, Nigeria’s independent online newspaper was launched on April 29, 2014.

The newspaper based in Lagos was founded by Simon Kolawole, a Chevening alumnus, Mo Ibrahim Fellow, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and former editor of This Day newspapers, Nigeria.
