A newspaper outfit that is based in Ikeja, Lagos requires the service of a web content editor.
Interested applicant candidates applying for this post must have excellent in writing and editing skills, with an understanding of the special requirements of writing for the Web, such as the use of keywords, hyperlinks, navigation and the importance of brevity.
They must have a good eye for news, with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills. Good organizational skills to collate material from multiple sources and produce web content within tight deadlines are essential.
Above all, candidates must be able to multitask and work under minimal supervision. Five years cognate editorial experience will be an added advantage.
