The Lagos Chapter of Nigeria Union of Journalists cordially invites the general public to the public presentation of a book “Jakande: Fountain of Excellence” to celebrate the 85th birthday of the first Civilian Governor in Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande.
The event that is scheduled to hold on Wednesday July 23, 2014 will be held at Darlington Hall, Plot CDE, Industrial Crescent, Town Planning Way, Ilupeju Estate, Lagos by 12 noon.
The former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be the Special Guest of Honour at the event, the Guests of Honour for the event are the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun; Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi; Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola;
Others are the governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole; Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi; and the governor of Ondo State , Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
The book will be presented by the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adeyemi Ikuforiji while the Chief Host and the Host are Babatunde Raji Fashola, the executive Governor of Lagos State and Mallam Garba Mohammed, National President, NUJ respectively.
