The International Women’s Media Foundation is accepting third-party nominations (no self nomination) for the 2022 Courage in Journalism Awards.
The award seeks to recognize fierce women journalist who are detained, jailed or imprisoned. It honors brave women journalists – including photojournalists – working in any country across the world.
Candidates for the Courage in Journalism Awards must be full-time staff or freelance women or non-binary reporters, writers, editors, photographers or producers working in any country and of any nationality.
Application deadline is slated for March 18, 2022.
Applicants are required to submit their applications in English, Spanish, or French.
