Editor-in-Chief of Legit.ng, Bayo Olupohunda has resigned his appointment and taken up the same role at Opera News, Nigeria.
Olupohunda, award-winning digital journalist and author announced his movement in a facebook post on Sunday evening.
“ I want to thank my editorial team for working really hard to make legit number one most visited online media in Nigeria. The success would not have been possible without you.
“ Thanks to the management and Genesis Media for the support and opportunity,” he stated in the post which attracted numerous congratulatory and best wishes messages from friends and colleagues.

Olupohunda, author of Are You Not A Nigerian? started his media career as Features writer with The Guardian and was later a Metro columnist with the defunct NEXT newspaper.
He was also a former opinion columnist with Punch newspaper before joining Naij.com which rebranded as Legit.ng as Editor-In-Chief.
His writings have won him local and international media awards and nominations including CNN African Journalist Awards finalist in the Culture Award Category and was a finalist at the West Africa Media Awards in Health Reporting Category and in Informed Commentary Category at the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence.
