Practicing female journalists can now apply for the second round of the International Women’s Media Foundation grant to pursue under-reported issues around the world.
The initiative, which seeks to expand opportunities for women, was established as a $4 million grant from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and supports critical interventions such as educational opportunities, investigative reporting and media development projects.
Who is Eligible
- Female journalists from any part of the world
- Applicants whose primary profession is journalism
- Professional journalists with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
- A team of journalists who are 50% women interested in collaborative work
