The 2019 edition of the world congress of the International Press Institute (IPI) #IPIWOCO has held in Geneva with the theme Building alliances for Independent media

IPI annually holds a high-profile World Congress, gathering editors, media executives and leading journalists from globally-renowned media outlets.

The congress was held in Abuja, Nigeria in 2018.
