Journalist and Communication Strategist Yinka Oyebode has been appointed as the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
Oyebode former Assistant Editor at The Punch and The Nation served in the same position during Fayemi’s first tenure as governor.
He later served as Special Adviser on Media to Fayemi when he was Minister of Mines and Steel Development.
A graduate of English and Literary Studies from Ondo State University, Ado Ekiti, Oyebode holds a certificate in Political Reporting and Policy Investigation from the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Berlin, Germany and Masters of Journalism in Investigative Journalism and New Ventrures from University of Kings, Canada.
