Of recent there has been movements of some staff of Television Continental (TVC), Lagos to a foreign broadcast station in the country.
The staff moved to the British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) which began transmission recently.
TVC, according to sources is said to be the target of the recruitment by BBC due to the technological edge the station has over others in the country and skills of the staff.
Among those who have been hired by BBC are.Dan Akpoyi ,a top flight producer and one of the best hands in features documentary who left since last year, Joke Lijadu ,producer and anchor person for The Sunday Interview and Producer of Journalist Hang Out, a live feature analysis programme, Abayomi Adisa.
The movements which came with mouth -watering packages for the affected journalists, may impact of the operations of TVC which last year sacked some staff due to the closing of some of its foreign bureau in Germany ,France, Egypt, Ghana and some other countries.
