President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the renowned veteran journalist, Chief Areoye Oyebola as he clocks 80 on 23rd, December.

In a statement by Special Adviser to the President, Media & Publicity, Femi Adesina, said, President Buhari praised Author and former Editor of Daily Times for his untiring contributions to nation building when he joined NADECO and Afenifere in his life time in pursuit of justice and fairness.

He also said, as a politician and writer who relentlessly fought during Nigeria’s trying time in the past, president Buhari among other well-wishers in media, family, friends and publishers commended Chief Oyebola for books written over the years, and prayed the “Almighty God will grant Chief Oyebola longer life, good health and more strength to continue serving the country he loves, and humanity in general.”

As one of his achievements to establish an NGO and Movement for Nigeria’s Total Transmition(MNTT), Oyebola, celebrated his unrelenting pursuit of justice and fairness in ensuring a better Nigeria.
