A former Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Bauchi State, Mrs Jummai Bello has been appointed as the first female Managing Director of Bauchi Radio Corporation.
Her appointment by the state governor, Mohammed Abubakar was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bello Ilelah.
Bello, 55 and a 1982 Mass Communication graduate of Bayero University, Kano, until her recent appointment, she was the Director of News and Current Affairs of the station.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bello replaces Alhaji Maigari Kanna who retired after 35 years in the service of Bauchi State government.
