Publisher of Newswatch Times, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim may have rested the print version of the newspaper.

Last week, the businessman held a meeting with the management staff and unveiled plans to go fully online with the publication.

The decision to publish online may not be unconnected with the crisis rocking the media outfit whose workers are being owed 14 months salaries.

Ibrahim was said to have announced that the print edition of the paper will stop publication at end of March.

While the workers await the month end, they were shocked as the paper has not been printed since Friday 11th through Sunday 13th March despite production of the pages for printing.

The publisher had however promised to pay only 60% of total debt while the staff will forfeit the remaining 40 percent.

It is not yet certain how many of the workers the company would be retained for the online edition of the paper.
