Entries have been invited for the 2014 Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA).
The award which features categories in print and electronic media is open to all practicing journalists in Nigeria, regardless of sex and submission is based on works done in the year 2013.
Categories for the award include print media reportage on defence, features, insurance, environment, education, power and other areas of coverage.
The electronic media categories include radio reporter of the year, television newscaster of the year, television production of the year, radio presenter of the year.
Works to be submitted for print category should meet journalistic principles of fairness, balance, human interest, freshness of ideas among others; while those for electronic category must depict depth, confidence, emotional appeal, technical execution and other professional demands.
All entries are to be received latest 31st of March 2014 and could be submitted at NMMA office in Ikeja or forwarded via e-mail to nmma.awards@gmail.com
