The League Management Company (LMC), the new management body of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) requires the services of a Director of Media and Strategic Communications (LMC03).
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will design and direct strategic marketing-communication plans to develop brand identity, brand profile and loyalty of the LMC in order to enable it achieve its primary mission of promoting NPFL to local and international publics.
Qualification
A master’s degree in Communication, Journalism or Business Administration would be an advantage.
A minimum of ten years’ cognate experience at management level.
Proven track record of developing and executing effective marketing/ communications strategies to raise corporate profile, build the company brand and opportunities for beneficial partnership and new revenue streams.
Strong and ethical leadership skills, articulate public speaking, as well as a network of goodwill with key decision-makers in media, private and public sectors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to persuade and advocate for vision and policies of the company and NPFL.
Strong leadership and management skills and ability to manage and work with people of diverse background and interests.
