TV station, TAF partner to host play

Rave TV, a broadcast station owned by Agatha Amata has been partnered with, by TheatreMania Africa Festival (TAF) to host a stage play titled ‘Whispers’.

The partnership which came few inches to the 2017 edition of TAF is a two-day stage production expected to come up between March 24 and 25 at Rave TV studio, Ilupeju, Lagos.

According to The Nation report, Leading other celebrities to perform ‘Whispers’ alongside the Black Image Theatre Productions crew are multiple award-winning actress Doris Simeon, foremost Nigerian comedian Owen Gee, South Africa-based actress Thandekile Maseko, Brand /Content Strategist Alayande Stephen and sensational gospel act Adeola Dawn.

According to Doris Simeon, “I’m using this opportunity to invite my fans, lovers of arts and stage plays to come out enmasse to see the beauty of this enthralling, engaging and must-watch stage production. So, join me, Owen Gee, Thando and others live at the RAVE TV studio. It is a stage play not to miss.”

CEO and co-founder of TAF, Alayande Stephen also said: “We have come a long way and we can only hope that we can join others in strengthening the institutions that are still promoting theatre arts, stage productions and other forms of creative arts and ultimately make our industry stronger and better.

‘Whispers’ as a stage play is a total package meant for the family.”
