Editor of The Guardian Newspaper, Martins Oloja has been redeployed by the management of the company.
Oloja was reportedly redeployed last week to the editorial board of the newspaper.
A former Deputy Editor of the newspaper, Jewell Dafinone has been named Acting Editor of the daily.
It is not yet clear why Oloja, former Abuja Bureau Chief of The Guardian who was named acting editor on October 2, 2012 and later confirmed in February 2013 was redeployed.
Sources however said the management may not have been pleased with Oloja’s performance. He was suspended for a month last year.
