Rwandan journalist wins Dubai trip

Johnson Kanamugire, a reporter with The East African and Rwanda Today newspapers, Rwanda, Africa, has won a trip to Dubai to cover one of the world’s largest Event for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

In a statement released by the organisers, African Press Organisation (APO) group, Johnson Kanamugire would go on a trip to Dubai to cover the Annual Investment Meeting with free accommodation.

The 2017 meeting is expected to welcome more than 15,000 participants, heads of states and governments, businessmen and investors from over 140 countries across the globe.

Both The East African and Rwanda Today newspapers, are regional weeklies published by the Kenya-based Nation Media Group.

Kanamugire is based at The East African’s Rwanda Bureau where he covers a variety of beats including business for both the main paper and Rwanda Today, a smaller weekly specific to Rwanda.
