Public Relations expert marks birthday with ’40 Life lessons’ book

A public and media relations professional expert, Remilekun Kehinde-Philip has launched a book to mark her 40th birthday.

The book, titled “40 Life Lessons” was launched on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the virtual birthday celebration.

Kehinde-Philip explained that the book chronicles her story-the good, the bad and the ugly and the lessons she has picked along life’s journey.

“It is a transformational tool that encourages the reader, especially one in this generation, to trust the process that is laden with the clarity needed for his/her progress.

“ It is a manual that keeps the reader moving and constantly reminds him/her to rise above the tides, past failures and limitations, see possibilities in them and be inspired by their attendant unhindered growth,” the author stated.

A Retired Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Government, Rhoda Ayinde, said the book is a confirmation of the statement “Behind every glory, there is a story.”

“The simplicity of the language and brevity of the lessons/chapters make the book easy to read.

“ I recommend the book to all who think they have come to the end of the road, all who want to start a business, and those who have always thought writing a book is a herculean task or impossibility.”

The Chairman of the book launch, Peter Oyeneye disclosed that 50percent of the proceeds from the sale of the book on the launch date would be given out to widows.

The author has over ten years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Media Relations, Public Relations, Front Desk, Client Service and Event Management.

She has worked with several organizations and private sector institutions centring on brands marketing and communications strategy. She progressively and creatively explores and employs inventive platforms to execute resourceful and constructive solutions to advance the equity of brands through fundamental elements such as integrated marketing communications, consumer engagement, public relations, and good old fashion traditional means of communication.
