Social media activist and entrepreneur, Japhet Omojuwa has been chosen among the top 100 most influential black people on social and digital media worldwide.
Omojuwa who is an Editor of Washington based ATLAS Economic Research Foundation is number 29 on the list.
He’s is a curator of the widely regarded www.omojuwa.comwhich has since become a tool of expression for many Nigerians.
Omojuwa is a columnist with Nigeria’s most respected newspaper The Punch and Metropole Magazine and a contributor of numerous articles on African and Nigerian socio-economic development and political perspectives.
His works have appeared in local and international media including the BBC, Financial Times and THISDAY Newspapers. His articles have been translated into French, German, Portuguese and Greek languages.
Omojuwa through his social media presence, websites and articles reaches some 500,000 people daily and above that number across days during specific campaigns. He uses social media to good effect for advocacy, business and social commentary.
Omojuwa’s tweets have been branded by organisations including Peak” Milk,MTN, Interswitch amongst others.
Omojuwa has graced panels across the globe speaking on African issues. He currently lectures at Berlin’s Free University
