The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Rahamon Bello, has approved the appointment of Dr Oloruntola Sunday as Acting Head of Department of Mass Communication of the institution.
His appointment which is for a one year term takes effect from August 1, 2016.
He takes over from Dr Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika.
Dr Oloruntola, a Senior Lecturer bagged his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos
He holds a Doctorate in Agricultural Communication from the University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Before venturing into the academics, Dr Oloruntoba worked in media houses including Republic Newspapers, Citizen Magazine and Daily Times.
