Ifeoluwa Shekinah Olagunju is the new Press and Media Coordinator for the US Mission in Nigeria.
She will be responsible for monitoring Nigeria media and advising the Consulate General Leadership on media coverage of US foreign policy and other things.
Olagunju announced her appointment through a post on her LinkedIn account on Tuesday.
“It’s an incredible honour to be a part of the Public Affairs team for the U.S. Department of State.
“I am looking forward to contributing to meaningful dialogue and fostering stronger connections through media and public engagement,” she said in the post.
Olagunju’s career experience has cut across different areas of the media and communication sector, leading teams and executing projects across print broadcast media and corporate communications.
Before her new appointment, she had worked as Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Avons Media Practice and Lead Consultant at Gunju Consulting.
