NIJ commences 2017/18 admission

The Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Lagos has commenced admissions for its various courses for the 2017/2018 academic session.
The foremost media institution is admitting students into its various programs which includes National Diploma, Higher National Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma.
The institution has also advertised 12 weeks certificate courses in photography and effective writing in communication skills.
According to one of the institution;s instructors,  Tolu Ojemuyiwa, “The programs are well tailored to produce seasoned journalists for media organisations in Nigeria.”
NIJ was established in 1963 as one of the two experimental schools of Journalism in Africa established by the Zurich-based International Press Institute (IPI) in Lagos and Nairobi, Kenya respectively.
