The fellowship which is an annual program that brings journalists from different countries to American newsroom, has been won by 12 Nigerian journalists from 1987-2011.

1998: Angela Agoawike (Nigeria), hosted by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
1999: Tamunoibim Semenitari (Nigeria), hosted by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
