Nigeria Capacity Development Report 2022

The 2022 edition of the annual Nigeria Media Capacity Development Report by the Media Career Development Network (MCDN) has been launched.

The new 75-page report documents the various programmes and activities of media support organisations in the country, a Database of the organisations, analysis of major issues in the media,  2023 opportunities and trends in the media and insights from interviews on our website www.mediacareerng.org

In the introduction to the Report, Executive Director, Lekan Otufodunrin noted that as in the first and second editions, major media NGOs and institutions were very generous in sharing their programmes and activities last year and plans for 2023.

Based on the programmes and projects they implemented, the organisations are not resting on their oars to meet the capacity development needs of journalists and media professionals in the country.

They keep raising the standards for training journalists and providing more resources employers of journalists cannot provide.
