President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mallam Mohammed Deen Garba has been appointed as the new new Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) .
His appointment was announced on Thursday along with 53 others in an overhaul of the organizational structure of the NNPC.
Garba who is Editor at Large at The Sun Newspapers replaced Mr. Ohi Alegbe who was redeployed to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as Group General Manager.
Mohammed, former Deputy President of NGE emerged as the substantive president during the 11th National Conference in August 2015 following the appointment of former president, Femi Adesina, as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to President Muhammad Buhari.
