According to NBCU, “This one-day intensive workshop, geared toward on-air AND off-air convention attendees, is taught by NBCU “professors” and is designed for individuals at all levels of their career. Journalism has long been regarded as a crucial force in the operation of government, so vital to the functioning of a democracy that has come to be known as “the fourth estate.” This year’s NBCUniversity will delve into the role of journalism in our emerging political and social landscape and the give and take between government and media in this unique historical moment.”
