Collation of entries for the Nigerian Breweries Golden Pen annual media award for journalists is on with the N2 million being the top prize.
The four categories in the award, the ninth in the series , which is aimed at promoting excellence amongst journalists are as follows :
+NB Golden Pen Reporter of the year,
+NB pen report of the year
+NB golden photojournalist of the year
While the cash prize for the first place winner in the NB Golden Reporter of the year is N2m, the first runner up will get N1.5m and the second runner up N1m.
The Photojournalist of the year and NB pen reporter of the year will get N1m each as cash prize.
Entries from deserving Nigerian journalists who have distinguished themselves in 2016 for reports focusing on Agriculture, Local sourcing and Industrial development published in Nigeria between January 1st
2016 and December 31st 2016 are invited.
A maximum of three entries per person is permitted and all entries can be forwarded via goldenpenawards@tptinternational.com or the corporate address on PR place, 6/8 Ogunsaya crescent, Magodo GRA, Shangisha, Lagos.
Entries open July 3, 2017 and close August 4, 2017.
