How journalists can monetise AI - Media Career Services

In a recent Instagram Live interview with the Publisher of YES Magazine, Azuh Arinze, Attorney, Techprenuer and Digital Business Coach, Mr Ope Banwo shares some insight on how media professionals can monetise AI.

What does monetizing AI truly mean to you in practical terms for the average entrepreneur or professional today?

To start from your own media field, one of the biggest ways you can monetize AI right now is what I call content monetization by starting a content creation agency which is where you are able to provide content because there’s content everywhere, but people are still paying for content every day.

For a content creation agency, you are looking at how to create content for people, how to help people write proposals, to create content they use on social media – video, audio and text.

Number two, everybody out there can now be an author or a ghost writer when you want to monetize AI by writing books because now you have a tool that that can help you write a book in literally four hours on any topic.

All you need is the idea. You interrogate or prompt your AI and you can get a book done. I’ve helped thousands do that this last year. I myself have over 120 books on Amazon with AI. The one that took me the most time is eight hours and the books are better than the ones that are written over five years.

So anybody out there right now can become a professional author. In other words you can call them a a bookpreneur where your goal is to write books, you publish it and you monetize it with AI.

There are a lot of people out there who want to write books but they don’t know how to do it. They even have the content, but how to put it together into a book they don’t know.

So you can become a ghost writer. That’s another way of monetizing AI that is really out there for everybody and I teach that a lot.

Now another way you can monetize it is through becoming a softwareprenuer. Before, for you to have your own a software or to create a software you have to have technical skills. You have to have a lot of training, but now some of these AI tools they will code the software for you.

All you do is simply say I want a software that can do this and that’s all you need to know. What do you want your software to do you? List it out and then you prompt your tool and Gemini will code for you. There even more advanced ones.

Another way is what is called a faceless YouTube channel which is where a lot of young people are making crazy money. I train a lot of them so I know and I see some of their results where you create a channel on whatever topic you want and then you use AI to generate the content.

Before, when people want to create a YouTube channel it’s tough getting the content. How do you get to create a video every day because if you’re going to make money with YouTube you have to be consistent. You have to keep providing content. But now with so many AI tools out there you can create a full video in less than an hour.

If you use video AI for instance you can create 10-15 minute video that make perfect sense in under one hour. Get the content written, get it created and get it posted. So you can be a YouTube prenuer just with that where you don’t even need to show your face.

Let’s say you picked a topic on weight loss and then every day you are posting a video or two on different aspects of weight loss. You use ChatGPT to write your script, you take that script to a video AI or any of those AI tools and in 30 seconds it generates a video for you.

Then you edit it a bit to make sure that the graphics it gave you matches your text. All of that probably take you another two to three hours. You have your videos ready and you can be posting one or two videos every day on YouTube over the next few months.

Before you know it you are making money. So there there are many ways to monetize, you just have to decide which one you want to do.
