In past years, I have published various media career development related articles focusing on issues, ideas, opportunities and other matters that should be of interest to media professionals in the country.
Writing on media career development is part of my commitment to sharing information and resources that can assist journalists maximize the potentials of the profession.
More than ever before, there is need for a regular platform to inspire Nigerian journalists to be more committed to their job, draw attention to best practices and highlight other professional requirements to excel.
From today, I will publish a daily Media Career Development ( MCD) Diary on the issues mentioned above. It will be as short as possible and not longer than necessary.
I will require regular feedbacks and contributions from readers to sustain the frequency of the publication which is intended to give media career development issues the attention it deserves in the Nigeria media circles.
Please join me in this journey to contribute my quota to reinvent journalism practice in Nigeria.
Tomorrow I will write on How not to apply for media fellowships and awards.
