Call for Applications: Data Entry Coders for Archival Research Project.
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Data Entry Coders to support an archival research project focused on analyzing campaign messages in Nigerian elections.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in data entry, coding, and archival research, particularly in the social sciences.
Responsibilities:
• Carefully review and code archived media reports.
• Accurately enter coded data into a database system.
• Ensure quality control and consistency in data entries.
• Collaborate with the research team to refine coding categories as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience with data entry, coding, or archival work (at least 1 year preferred).
• Familiarity with political science or social science research is a plus.
• Familiarity with Nigerian elections is a plus.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to follow coding protocols and instructions with minimal supervision.
Commitment and Compensation:
• Hours: Flexible, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
• Duration: Initial 2-month contract with potential for extension.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
