Cable publisher Kolawole named LEAP Africa director

The Publisher and Founder of The Cable Online Newspaper, Simon Kolawole has been appointed a Director of Leadership, Effectiveness, Accountability & Professionalism (LEAP) Africa , a nonprofit organization.

Kolawole was appointed along with Claire Omateseye, Founder and Managing Director of JNC Nigeria Limited and Rabi Isma, Director, Leadership and Organisational Development, Etisalat Nigeria.

Others on the board are Uche Pedro, Founder, BellaNaija.com and Bainstone Nigeria Limited and Dr. Nadu Denloye, a season IT enterpreneur, mentor, people manager and business leader are part of the board of Directors.

Kolawole, a graduate of Mass Communication, University of Lagos, Akoka holds a Master’s degree in Governance and Development from the University of Sussex, UK.

He was the Editor of ThISDAY newspaper from 2007 to 2012 and currently a Columnist with THISDAY, the Sunday edition.
