Business A.M described as the much anticipated business newspapers by one of its promoters made its debut on the newsstands on Monday, February 5.
This newspaper seeks to improve the practice of financial journalism in Nigeria.
Published by Businessnewscorp Limited, the paper is led by two former journalists at BusinessDay Newspaper. They are: Philip Isakpa and Steve Omanufeme.
According to them, Business A.M will give journalism ‘a worthy place in our society.’
Isakpa, was also a financial journalist at The Daily Times and Thisday Newspapers before venturing into financial public relations. He also worked at Equity Bank, Zenith Bank and First Bank of Nigeria Plc.
He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). He is an alumnus of University of Benin and PortHarcourt.
Omanufeme was Editor at Daily Independent, Group Business Editor at THISDAY, News Editor at BusinessDay Media Limited and Head, Media & External Relations at First Bank of Nigeria Limited
