CORRESPONDENT, NATION’S CAPITAL
Responsibilities: The Correspondent, Nation’s Capital, will assist the Head of Abuja Bureau in reporting news and writing features on business and politics. Requirements: Significant newspaper experience in news writing and reporting is vital. Candidates must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism. Candidates who currently live in Abuja and have reported from the city have an advantage.
DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTS/ANALYSTS
Responsibilities: The Development Specialists/Analysts will be primarily responsible for sourcing news and features on development issues covering infant and maternal health, climate change, migration, poverty, water and sanitation, basic education, gender rights, among others. Requirements: Significant experience in news writing and reporting, with strong analytical, creative and organisational skills. Candidates must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism. Journalists and analysts with background in Economics and Development Studies as well as extensive knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will enjoy a significant advantage over other applicants.
LIFESTYLE EDITOR
Responsibilities: The Lifestyle Editor will be responsible for news and features on fashion, beauty, entertainment and society. Requirements: Relevant experience in lifestyle news writing and reporting, with strong analytical, creative and organisational skills. Candidate must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism. Topnotch experience is non-negotiable.
FASHION AND SOCIETY REPORTER
Responsibilities: The reporter will be based in Lagos and shall report mainly on celebrities and fashion. Requirements: Journalism experience with hands-on skills in New Media.
