HumAngle Media, a conflict journalism platform in Nigeria is looking for an Editor-in-Chief, Tech and AI Specialist and NYSC Writing and Graphic designing interns to work with their newsroom in Abuja.
The E-I-C will lead Humangle’s newsroom and drive the mission of delivering impactful,insightful, and nuanced journalism of the outfit.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of newsroom experience, with a proven track record of reporting on Africa’s conflict and humanitarian issues, leading diverse teams and managing editorial workflows. He or she must also have an in-depth knowledge of the socio-political dynamics in Africa and a strong network within the
media industry.
The Tech and AI Specialist will play a critical role in driving technological
innovation, optimizing the processes, and enhancing the content delivery of Humangle.
He or she will develop and implement innovative AI-driven tools and solutions to support Humangle’s journalistic storytelling and newsroom operations.
The suitable candidates for this position must have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in innovation, technology, and AI with a strong portfolio or examples of innovative work in tech and AI.
The NYSC interns, aside from being corps members serving in Abuja, must be writers who have fine storytelling skills and have clips to prove it and graphic designers who have evidence of previous work done.
