With only six categories including; print, online, photo, editorial cartoon, television, and radio, The award is arguably the most contested investigative journalism award in Nigeria.
The 2024 Amplify In-depth Media (AIM) Conference which will precede the WSAIR is themed ‘Media credibility, investible reporting and Artificial intelligence’ and will be keynoted by Tolu Ogunlesi MON, Managing Partner at WoweMedia and former Special Assistant to the erstwhile Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, on Digital/New Media, as the keynote speaker.
Ten more speakers will be speaking on varying relevant topics at the two-days hybrid conference scheduled for Sunday 8 and Monday 9, December, 2024.
