Journalists worldwide who wish to know more about democracy can apply for the Reagan-Fascell Democracy fellowship.
The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program, organized by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), aims to enable democratic practitioners, scholars and journalists to deepen their understanding of democracy and enhance their ability to promote democratic change.
Winners of the Fellowship are expected to be in residence at the International Forum for Democratic Studies in Washington for October 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019 and March 1 to July 31, 2019 and must have good knowledge of English Language.
Each fellow receives a monthly stipend for living expenses, plus health insurance and reimbursement for travel.
The deadline to apply is October 15, 2017.
