A media investor group, Vee Communications has confirmed its takeover of the publication of Nigerian Compass Newspaper owned by former Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
According to a press release signed by ‘Jumoke Awe, Media Consultant to Vee Communications, the acquisition of the publishing rights to Compass Newspaper by the new firm led by Segun Oyebolu, a magnate with varied business interest within and outside Nigeria was completed to add fresh touch to the business of news reporting in Nigeria.
The release disclosed that the new Compass Newspaper will hit newsstands across the country on Monday 7th April.
” The refocused newspaper will ensure maximum returns to its business advertisers while providing our esteemed readers with daily, unbiased news and reports around the country, Africa and the rest of the World.
“The Newspaper in line with its core non-partisan, fiercely independent editorial board will give Nigerians a balanced forum that will be extensively open to all shades of opinion.” the statement said.
