Mohammed Adamu, a 500-level law student, and Toheeb Abdulrafiu, a former student of Economics, from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, were among the four winners in the September Reading Challenge organized by Students for Liberty, Africa.
The reading challenge is a monthly book review for the libertarians who are also members of the organization across the continent.
Every month, in this challenge, two moderators and two winners are celebrated out of over 500 participants. Winners are chosen based on arguments and responses to questions.
Mohammed Adamu, a 500-level law student and winner of the Reading Challenge as the moderator, said only determination and hard work can make a leader win.
“It’s not easy. But with time, hard work and consistency, we will make it,” he said.
“It’s always a nice feeling being among the champions. I feel very happy and proud of myself, it makes me feel like I am progressing.”
The other two winners are Adetola Babalola and Ogundeyi Oluwatosin.
