Peace Hyde bags African Broadcaster of the Year

Forbes Africa Correspondent, Peace Hyde has emerged winner ‘The African Broadcaster of the Year’ female people’s choice category.
The On Air Personality beat Bonang Matheba of South Africa,Dolapo Oni and Stephanie Coker of Nigeria with 60% of the votes at the Nigerian Broadcaster Merit Award {NBMA} held in Abuja.
The selection featured voting by SMS Shortcode, which took the lion’s share of 60 per cent, while research, survey and agency reports were responsible for 40 per cent of the final result for this year.
Hyde also voted as one of the top 50 most influential people in Ghana is the founder of a leading education and entrepreneurship brand, Aim Higher Africa for which she was recently awarded the ‘Young CEO Global Leader’ award.
She has also been recently nominated for ‘International Business Woman of the Year’ and ‘Business Woman of the year’ categories in the prestigious Women 4 Africa award-taking place in London by May this year.
