General Manager, Editorial at Newswatch Communications Limited, Demola Abimboye has been appointed as Acting Managing Director/CEO of Newswatch Times Newspapers.
He replaces Bankole Makinde who until recently was the Acting MD/CEO.
Publisher of the Newspaper, Jimoh Ibramih while speaking at conference in Abuja which broadcast live on television announced the sacking of the MD/CEO of the Newspaper following protest by staff owed salaries for months at the programme.
It was learnt that Makinde had resigned his appointment before Ibrahim announced his sack.
The pioneer MD/CEO of the newspaper, Moses Jolayemi has resigned his appointment last year.
