The School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University has called for enrollment for a Certificate in Media Enterprise (CME) programme.
The programme which would commence next month would feature courses geared towards equipping participants with the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership ability required to turn a creative idea into a successful business venture.
It would also help practitioners in the media industry improve their management skills so that they can effectively manage the growth of their enterprise.
Expected participants for the programme cut across professionals from the print and the electronic media as well as advertising agencies.
They include managers, editors and production managers/producers, directors, accounts/client managers, as well as other professionals in marketing communications, promotion/brand communications, creative directors, media relations among others.
Participants would be taught on creativity and innovation, strategies for growth, professional ethics, preparing a business plan, and creative designs/new media. Other areas that would be covered in the programme are creative writing, effective corporate communication, leadership strategies as well as marketing and advertising.
The course fee is N731,000 per participant, while the duration is 30 days spread across five months beginning from 7th April, 2015. Flexible payment is however allowed.
