JFC hosts fellowship on media awards, trainings

Christian Journalists Fellowship, Journalists for Christ (JFC) will on Saturday host the Coordinator, Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigate Journalism (WSCIJ), Motunrayo Alaka, as guest speaker for its monthly meeting in Lagos.
In a statement by the fellowship, Alaka will be speak on the theme “Maximising Media Awards, Fellowships and Trainings” at the programme scheduled for International Press Centre, Lagos.
Alaka’s presentation will provide answers on the various means journalists can source for media awards and fellowships, the organizations funding investigative reports, what media trainings are available for Nigerian journalists and what media awards can Nigerian journalists apply for.
She will also address the issue of how Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) can help journalists achieve their career goals and what journalists should know about the Wole Soyinka Investigative Centre.
“Participants will also be enlightened on benefits of media awards and trainings, the process of applying for media awards and how journalists can maximise opportunities available for them will also feature, ” the statement said.
