Coalition calls for release of journalist detained by the DSS

The Coalition for Whistleblower Protection and Press Freedom has called on the Federal Government to order the immediate release of Mr Jones Abiri, publisher of the Weekly Source newspaper in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Abiri was arrested by agents of the Department of State Security (DSS) on July 21, 2016 and has been detained without charge since then.
