The 2019 edition of the African Investigative Journalism Conference has opened in Johannesburg, South Africa with participants ad speakers from across the globe.
The three-day conference is organised by the Journalism Programme of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University) in Johannesburg.
The conference promises to offer the best of investigative stories and speakers, inspiration, improved skills and how to become a better journalist.
The opening plenary was on Under threat: The State of Investigative Journalism.
