Lekan Otufodunrin, journalist and media career development specialist in Nigeria writes on a favourite hashtag that inspires him every Sundays and on other days #ThinkBigSundayWithMarsha
I can’t remember how I stumbled on the hashtag. It must have been on one of those Sundays when I was going through my Twitter feeds in search of any tweet worth paying attention to.
Who doesn’t want to think big and become one? I sure want to. So I couldn’t resist the temptation to check out what #ThinkBigSundayWithMarsha was all about when I saw it in one tweet.
First, I needed to be sure who Marsha Wright @marshawright was and how much influence he or she wields to warrant asking anyone to think big with him or her.
With a verified Twitter handle, hundreds of thousands of followers and her profile about being a Serial-Entrepreneur, CEO of PromoNation.co, SemiRetired@32, Author, Top Influencer and Marketing Savant. I didn’t need much convincing to know the hashtag will be worth my while.
As I scrolled through the tweets for that Sunday by Marsha and many others from across the globe, I found insightful quotes either by those sharing them or by renowned personalities in various field of human endeavour.
The focus of the quotes with relevant pictures includes leadership, management, critical thinking, collaboration, success, inspiration, self-awareness, productivity, innovation and many others. There were so many lessons and reminders in the tweets to inspire anyone to think big no matter how lowly he or she may be feeling.
I spent time reflecting and meditating on the tweets in line with my policy of spending quality time online and before I realized it, I was already noting some steps I needed to take to realize some of my personal goals.
Since that first Sunday and almost every other one, I never fail to check the very motivating hashtag, not only to read the tweets but to share my own quotes too.
With Marshal keeping her promise of re-tweeting every tweet that conforms with guidelines to her over 500k followers, the level of engagements with the tweets is very high.
Not only do you get retweets and likes, but you also get comments and valuable followership from people who share your views and have similar profiles.

In many ways the hashtag lives up to the promise of among others expanding your mindset, revamping your affirmations and helping you to think bigger than you think you can.
