30 journalists to benefit from Oxford Fellowship Programme

No fewer than 30 journalists around the world will benefit from fully funded fellowship programme to acquire more knowledge in journalism practice.

The programme is designed to enable journalists broaden their understanding on the current news ecosystem and wider media industry.

Applications are open with minimum of five years journalistic experience or its equivalent level of expertise for journalists, who understand and can communicate in English Language.

The Journalist Fellowship Programme which was organized by the University of Oxford, in collaboration with Reuters Institutes, will last between three to six months. It will expose journalists to major challenges of the industry and a fresh perspective on their role as a journalist.

Successful applicants will have access to learning facilities such as the University of Oxford’s libraries as well as engage in informal conversations with other applicants globally.

Applications for the 2022/2023 fellowship cohorts (starting in October 2022, January 2023 and April 2023) are now open. The final deadline for applications is 14 February 2022 (23:59 UK time).
